Christmas Pictures

Every year I try to take Christmas pictures of the kids in front of the Christmas tree. Two years ago our tree started falling apart, so last year we had a real tree, but this year the kids wanted the tree up so early we went back to the artificial tree, well, despite the repair job it got, it didn't last long and less than 12 hours later it had some of the larger branches drooping unnaturally toward the floor. We twisted the branches together to encourage them to stay up only to have others reach for the floor. It seemed to be a losing battle, but not so bad that it needed to be taken down. Well, Shylah decided that that tree would never do and she set about fixing the problem showing up a short week or so later with a lovely replacement. What a delight! Now every time I look at my Christmas tree I think not only of Christmas, but also of my daughter. What a joy! So Shylah and the kids set about undecorating the old one and putting the new one up complete with decorations! Now I have a lovely tree to take Christmas pictures of. They are nothing fancy, but here they are:

And I even managed to get a photo of Chad and I this year. I am so blessed to have such a good husband and such fabulous kids. I can't even begin to express the depth of my gratitude for this my special family.
