The Certain Signs

You know it's spring when:

• the trees start popping popcorn

Popcorn popping on the plum trees!!!

• you find yourself uncontrollably taking photo's of the flowers

• the kids are happier outside than watching TV

And playing with water balloons no less!!!

• you see your first butterfly

• the rhubarb is growing so fast you could swear you hear it growing

Since then the rhubarb is twice as big!!!

• the grass needs cut and the compost needs turned

• the fields are dotted with new calves and foals

• the smell of rain calls you outside irregardless of what you were doing

Yup! That's the first rainbow of the year.
Isn't it glorious?!!!

• you start attending graduation ceremonies and garage sales

This was a cute graduation idea for refreshments.

• you find yourself wandering outside just to enjoy the fresh air and sun

I have to say I love spring! With all it's unique and happy characteristics. After long cold winter days, I always feel to welcome spring with all the joy and enthusiasm that it deserves. What a blessing it is to be reminded by nature that all things live again. ♥
